Bill Prout-Jones  - Producer / Director / Script Writer

Bill has produced and directed numerous commercials and feauture films over a period of more than 30 years and has worked with a host of international stars. 

As Director of television for the New York based Gray Advertising Group (Grey Phillips South Africa), he was responsible for the production and direction of literally hundreds of corporate television commercials.  

Amongst others, Bill produced one of the most famous commercials ever made in South Africa, the Sun City 'We will Rock You' Commercial, which scooped the Hollywood Television and Radio award for the World's Best Commercial of that year.

In addition to his movie career, Bill was involved in  the launch of Radio 702, where he had the popular 'Bill Jones Show' featuring 'Air Braamfontein', which ran for 7 years. Bill is also a professional jazz musician.

Ben Du Preez   - Executive Producer

Ben has a B.Comm Marketing degree, as well as a post-graduate diploma in Advanced Marketing from the University of Pretoria.

Ben has owned and managed  successful businesses for more than 20 years. He started the Diplomatic Duty Free business in South Africa, which he was actively involved in for 12 years. During this time, combined with his export business since the 1980's, he achieved ground braking results in both these industries and introduced various new export commodities to foreign countries.

Some of the countries and commodities include:                  

·     West Africa: Coca -Cola Cans

·     Middle East: Energade, Namibian Breweries products , Castle cans from SAB,  Some products from Distell  and the Douglas Green portfolio.

After being involved in Film & Television Productions with Bill on an ad hock basis for a number of years, it made sense to join forces on a permanent basis, which resulted in the launch of Street Smart Creative Film & Television Production (Pty)Ltd.
